I adore John Mayer’s music and especially his song, “Walt Grace’s Submarine Test, January 1967” off his Born and Raised album. “The Next is Up To You” is a line from the song. I just stepped back when I finished the painting, looked, there was this perfect package of image, title and one of my favorite paintings.
